I like this player BUT I was disappointed to see that in order to put a record on the turn table you have to feed the record into the slit in the back of the cabinet. In other words the cabinet without the slit would not fit a record into it. I would have preferred paying a little more for a cabinet that was an inch wider in depth so it could accommodate a record and get rid of the slit in the back wall of the player!! The player information didn't say anything about it having a slit - I keep wondering if my records will get damaged if someone isn't careful putting the back edge of the record thru the opening. I would not have ordered it if I had realized what the opening in the back was for. - Verified Store
