I have used these excellent speakers in our garage while working out and also in a bedroom hooked to a Denon DP-300F turntable (excellent for this use!). They do just fine with my phone or one of my tablets (iPad Mini or Amazon Fire Tablet). They connect fairly quick and then remain stable (which is more than I can say about some of my Bluetooth Headphones).
They reproduce music very well and while I never play music LOUD, they still handle everything I have played through them without any distortion or other problems.
Looks are subjective and I say these look very nice from a traditional viewpoint. Nothing wrong with that and I am hoping that a lacquered cherry finish might be available in the future.
I listen to traditional Jazz and Popular vocals and these little speakers shine while doing so at reasonable levels. Would I recommend them to friends and family? Without hesitation!
They punch above their weight and look good doing so. Well done, Electrohome!
