I got this for my wife for Christmas, she loves it. Mainly from the moment we removed it from the box. The overall size weight and look are great. The debate was the suitcase size ones, more portable, vs a piece of furniture. Since she decided that she wasn't going anywhere with it we chose the bigger size. Not disappointed at all, the sound is great for our apt. We were able to get rid of an old cd player we were using, I took it to the garage.
We have played new records and old ones, we have had no skipping, and we can shut the lid while it is playing, awesome, to keep the cats away from the new spinning object in the room.
