This is a delightful little machine! It surprised me how lovely it was for the low cost. I expected there to be shortcomings in its appearance, but it is everything I wanted. I've tried every feature except for the cd player. The radio comes in loud and clear which is surprising considering it's placed under power lines which usually affect our car radio. The turn table is absolutely dreamy! It plays my grandmother's and great grandmother's records quite smoothly. I was concerned about putting such old pieces on the player and while you do need to be careful not to bump the top of the slit in the back made to to allow room for the larger records, there didn't seem to be any problems playing them. The auxiliary input plays clearly and with hardly any static background noise. While the "metal" interface is indeed plastic, it by no means detracts from the lovely classic feel and the difference is undetectable until you touch it. The knobs and buttons all seem very sturdy. Over all, I am perfectly satisfied with my sweet little record player!
